Nascar Cup 2011 Race 23 - Michigan

Ah Michigan. The cookie cutter we hate to watch but love to drive. Very fast and exciting at various points. Darrel, Sandy and I started top 10 and had some very close racing early on. Sandy caused a wreck not long into the run (but past the first lap) and that helped Chad up to the front. Darrel ended up taking the lead for a bit but lost it after our first round of pits thanks to some calamity. Chad ended up getting tangled with Mears which caught Sandy also. Fortunately all the yellows lined up with pit windows so fuel wasn't an issue. With 10 to go, we restarted and I was 5th with about a dozen lap cars. Thankfully, Darrel had made me a patient driver by racing me real good earlier in the race so I carefully worked my way to the front. Next week we race Bristol at Night. Good luck!
