2021-1 NASCAR Cup Series - Round 5: Phoenix ISM

It was a night of broken dreams and cars.  And another mile track that divided the humans.

Race 1:

We managed about half the 16 laps before Hamilton was wiped out by Newman.

But other than that, there wasn't much else that happened, though The Bear and Gut Slab had some run ins.  Zolecki also suffered through the pack a bit.  Zack took the win, easily keeping a gap on Tnadz.

Race 2:

His second race would not fair as well as Reddick was ridic and cast him up the track.

Egg was working up the field when he got tapped and sent to the wall where he kept things pointed forward and rolling.

2 to go and Jamie's dominant performance over Tnadz was brought to an abrupt halt as Hamilton, claiming a black screen, carried straight into traffic after a spin, slamming into both Know U drivers, killing Zolecki's car and chance of a win.

Tnadz would inherit a hollow victory.

Race 3:

A corrupted replay file will keep things brief.  Zolecki took another pole with Tnadz and Egg behind.  An early caution got them line astern and coming back around into 4, The Egg ran up the track and straight into Tnadz, sending him to the back.  Further cautions sprung up along the way, mostly from Webster who was struggling with traffic, although a few incidents were stirred up by The Egg and others.  The final half of the race was almost wall to wall cautions, handing Jamie an easy win with The Egg and Tnadz well out of the top 10.

On to Atlanta.
