Twisted Metal Tour - Grid Iron Division 2015 - 13-15 Mr. Norm's Mayhem

These sticky tracks are ridiculous.  And with a rather full house, it got mad.

Race 1:

Several humans at the front and you can see it immediately got out of hand.

Rob was off into the fence early but managed to make up some ground during the race.

Darrel got caught up in one of the biggest wrecks in the race.  Notice Sandy is in the frame.

Sandy managed to get going and work his way up to 2nd but Darrel got bounced around repeatedly and finally couldn't land on his wheels.  When going to tow, he accidentally retired.

After hitting Hagerty pretty much every time by, Zack took him out rather handily.  That's good air.  Scott would eventually retire after some odd behavior, namely trying to cut through the infield.

Zack recovered and caught Sandy.  Then shoveled him off the track where he went from 5th to 22nd.

He also caught up to me as I was being wary around traffic.  At this point he was a lap down but still managed 2nd.

Race 2:

A similar set of humans at the start.

And immediately a wreck.  Sandy took out 4 other opponents in this mess and wouldn't survive much longer.

Hagerty caught up to it in his own self-caused wreck and would rage quit for the night after a dramatic tumble.

Scot was running well for most of the race and even holding 3rd until he went off track and rolled it.  He still managed to stay up in 4th however.

Zack was also doing well at the front until partway through, he tangled with the Saints.  He still managed 2nd in the end.

Darrel kept it clean and bounced back from his poor placement in Race 1.  Here he passed me for the lead after I got caught out on some slower traffic.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Race 3:

A slightly different setup for this final race.  I wasn't paying attention during qualy and it would cost me the heartache award.

I led most of the 24 laps but got scuppered by the Seahawks and rolled with technique that Rusty Wallace would envy.  Done, but my Seminoles came through to score some points in the end.

Darrel was there to pick up the lead and eventually the win, shoveling off poor Rob in the process

Done.

Scot was sadly rolled before turn one.  And he even complained about the races being too long.  Problem solved.

Zack kept it steady and even stalked The Bear for a long while before passing.  He would take his 3rd consecutive second of the night.

We will likely run GNC Carnival next week but if it is unstable with the recent updates, we may have to skip to the next track.  I will make sure to test and update as soon as possible.  Oh and also, I changed the Stats page.  More specifically, I deleted it and converted the archived stats page to be our ongoing stats page.  Thank you so much, Google Docs.
