Nationwide Series 2012 - 28 Dover

I was absent yet again, but here is yet another reenactment from Sandy:

"We all practiced well, but only Chad qualified well.  I tried, but failed, and Darrel tried the Scot method.  The race was relatively uneventful, all of us were running at the end.  Scot's big downfall was connectivity issues that threw him out of the race.  By the time he got back in, he was about 6 laps down.  A black flag for a one of those very confusing passing the pace car violations put him a couple more laps down.  He would have been competitive and on the lead lap if not for those issues.  I was also not too bad, passing cars and on the lead lap, when a big crash occurred a couple of turns ahead of me.  I actually negotiated it without issue, and gained about 15 places.  Spotter kept telling me to let him go, and line up behind the 11.  I almost stopped on the track, but when pit road opened I went in with the rest.  Immediately, I was given the black flag, and Chad and my spotter yelled at me, asking me what I was doing.  After telling them, and everyone else, to kiss my ass, I started 15th, and went in, served my penalty, and came out 2 laps down.  I gained, due to drop outs, but couldn't make it up.  Chad and Darrel had small skirmishes but remained healthy, more importantly, obeyed the rules, and were running at the end of the lead lap cars with about 10 laps to go.  They were moving up slowly, when the pack, coming to the white flag, decided to pit.  This made no sense, as everyone pitted when I did, and it gave me more than enough fuel to finish.  It moved the lead lap humans up to second and third, but they didn't have time to catch Edwards."
