British World Touring Car Championship 2013 - 19-21 Silverstone

A long hiatus and back to finish up the final track in the UK.  Scot made it in the nick of time to get it started.

Race 1:  Most of us started in the back with Darrel on the pole.  Sandy would have started up in 9th but we restarted the sessions so Scot could get in.  I ran Darrel down but couldn't catch him before we ran out of laps and he won.  Scot had issues but would come back in the next two races.  Chad and Sandy fought for positions but couldn't make it more than 30th.

Race 2:  We all started in the back and caused massive havoc working to the front.  I got loose and spun causing the field to check up.  That caused Darrel to get out in front of me where he ran afoul with an AI.  Coming to his smoke cloud, I knew no matter what I did, we were destined to collide.  Darrel didn't disappoint and spun his tires turning to the right, knocking me wide into an overpass.  Time for a tow.  I managed to pass Scot on the final corner to finish 12th,Scot 13th.  Chad and Darrel had a massive altercation on the front stretch coming to pit road, right in front of Sandy.  I didn't see it, but I heard there were cars vaulting over pit wall.

Race 3:  Darrel and I on the pole, we sprinted from the pack.  Darrel was disoriented by grey cars but held his position for the race.  Meanwhile, towards mid pack, a huge crash struck through turn 1.  Chad and Sandy raced each other cleanly through the race, scaring one another on multiple occasions.  Scot picked his way through the field and pulled out a very respectable 8th place finish.

We venture to Belgium at the famous mountain track:  Spa Francorchamps.  This should take place next week, but we'll see what happens with Sandy and Scot being out.  This will be one of, if not, the most challenging track on our tour.
