Race 1:
Tnadz started things of quickly by taking out Sandy through the most gentle of touches and then getting into Darrel after coming off of his previous contact.
Slab and Mad Max also got into each other early on which put them out of sync with the rest of the field.
An effect that proved deadly almost immediately.
The Egg and Buster managed to avoid the worst of things, fighting for the lead when they came together at the X.
Only three cars were left and Hamilton had a very brief disconnect. But it was just long enough for him to hit the wall, come back facing backwards, and then drive in reverse. Totally disoriented, he was disqualified before he realized his mistake, retaining his points but losing the Diehard award to Sandy, who finished 2nd. Tnadz took the win after avoiding some close calls with The Bear in the final, quiet laps.
Race 2:
The Race 2 start was less civil.
And it only got more chaotic.
The Egg was one of the first casualties as The Lions suddenly appeared in his cockpit.
Hamilton was almost immediately next with The Bear's Ravens falling on top of him. Teamwork.
And not but seconds later, Gut Slab launched through the intersection Rubik's cube.
Mad Max was having a typical race on his first reappearance but things went badly when he suddenly lost connection for a moment and cracked the outside wall.
But that didn't stop him from pulling off miracles in typical fashion. Watch as the Bulldogs are surely going to kill two NFC North teammates.
The Bears died dramatically but saved their team captain as he drove on without issue...besides the ones he started with.
GB was on point with performance, and having some good racing with the pointy end of the field.
Mad Max then blasted through Gut Slab's Gamecocks, ending both of them.
The Bear was running top 5 when he succumbed to damage that his team refused to fix. He sportingly did not end himself on someone else. How kind.
This was less kind as Buster shoveled his opponents out of the way.
But then he took a sure victory and spun out just before the line! Thinking the line was at the flagman, he looped it and was about to not just toss the win but lose 2nd too!
But Webster's Panthers helped him out and got him across the line.
Race 3:
If the start of Race 2 was unruly, Race 3's beginnings were right out...of orbit.
The Egg's bad luck continued almost immediately as The Bears smashed him in the crossover in the first lap.
Zack Webster's only race of the night also ended early as he got wrapped up in The Broncos.
And it was an absolute mess out from there. This one caught up Hamilton who died from the excessive bashing in the pile, not any one hit.
Buttersnaps got spun by Auburn right across the front of Mad Max who barely flinched.
An early black flag that didn't get cleared in time stunted what could have worked out to be a much better race than what he ended up with.
Gut Slab witnessed the end of Scot's race as the Cardinals sent him to his grave.
In the end, only a few humans remained. Slab held out for 6th, The Bear for 4th and Tnadz the tail of the podium in 3rd.
With that out of the way, the tour hits up the very first Wild Card at Mr. Norm's Mayhem.
