2022-1 V8 Supercars - Round 10: Pukehoke

Race 1:

A rowdy start with Know U on front row and Egg + Tnadz close behind.

Egg and Tnadz were nose to tail, inseparable until they both got loose out of the hairpin and collided.

Zack was playing catch up after a spin into T2 complex, flying up the order.

He caught Tnadz after he wiped out at the hairpin.

However, Smith's tires were cooked and he was out of control, dooring Webster and setting up the Line X car for a dramatic incident. Somehow, Zack was able to come up for a top 20.

Zolecki was untouched to the end, taking another win.

Race 2:

The second start was much like the first but Webster was midfield due to a booched qualy.

Tnadz and Egg were once again going at it through the first stint. First it was Tnadz taking advantage of an off, then Egg fought his way back through in the same place some laps later. Tnadz wiped out into T2 and pulled an undercut.

Webster was doing fairly well when he had an awkward slide on the final curb which eventually lead to his demise.

Egg was dumped into a wall ending his race.

Zolecki was leading into the final couple laps when a bump through T1 curb sent him sideways where he was then hammered by other drivers. His rear tires were gone when he went off track into a fence, ending his race.

Tnadz found himself in the lead coming to the white when he came upon The Bear "trying to give Scot's avatar room on the outside" when he suddenly was spinning in front of his son, sending the two into the air.

With a busted car and blown front tire, Tnadz limped across the line, barely holding the win.

That's it for the sprint races. Now for the 3 final rounds as part of the endurance series of races.

2022-1 V8 Supercars - Round 9: Sandown

Race 1:

Zolecki kicked things off at the front while Tnadz and Egg were not far behind. Egg even closer heading into T1...

After a fairly calm first stint, Egg leapfrogged Tnadz during put stops.

Zolecki then took the win, unmolested.

Race 2:

Things were definitely the other way around with the second pass and Webster lead the way with Tnadz in tow.

Further down the field, Egg was actually behaving as he and GB scrambled up the order.

But the first few laps were fraught with danger.

Both humans went evasive to avoid spinners and wreckers.

Unfortunately, GB was caught up in a few incidents but managed to keep things going.

Despite his issues, Jamie managed to charge to the front where Tnadz held a 3 second lead by the end.

The final round of the sprint races will take place at Pukekohe.
