2 weeks in a row the humans lock up the podium for a 1-2-3 finish. A quick restart after some awkwardness led the second race into an immediate yellow. The wreck was huge causing an upset. Things settled in after a long caution. There were some aggressive AI incidents that caused headaches for everyone. However it would be the second to last caution that would do me in from my long 1st place run. I pit thinking everyone else was coming in. This put me back where I lost 3rd gear on a major charge through the wreckage that all my teammates were creating out of the AI. Then I had shifting issues which threw my weight and thus car around through turn 10 (after I took first). Chad slipped by and we discovered that he was running first under yellow. After the field shook out, humans were all up front and the race ended under yellow.
So the AI may have been down a little bit in strength but bizarre twists of fate were all that kept us from having a far worse finish. Darrel was out in Minneapolis this week so Montreal will be his doubler. Montreal will be unfortunate.
