Race 1:
Gurton Buster and Tnadz ran two abreast for a few laps while Gut Slab and The Egg tried to find ways to not wreck and get around traffic.
In a rare and shocking twist, GB lost it off of turn 4, presumably as the rear bottomed out.
Damage wasn't bad but was there and the track was rather blocked.
In the chaos, Gut Slab was up to second but was under attack by Tnadz immediately.
He then started to fall back into the clutches of The Egg.
Just ahead of the leaders, Hamilton was low on the track trying to give The Bear some room while passing.
But he stepped out and massively over-corrected straight into his mountain buddy, killing him rather well.
Several more were involved and as he almost got it straight, Hawkins was right in the back.
He was even spun a second time by Maksajda.
The next caution came several laps later in the 50 lapper when Stevens nudged Slab out of line.
He caught the goofy safety barrier and went rolling.
Keep rollin rollin rollin rollin, WHAT!
GB was caught after having suffered damaged and taken out by White, Not White.
Coming to the end, The Egg had managed to work up to 5th and was starting to gain on Tnadz.
But all the laps were gone and Lee Rogers stole the win, pressing Tnadz to 2nd.
Race 2:
The 100 lap feature started off with some surprises as Webster arrived to take the pole and then immediately DQ himself, handing it off to Tnadz. But Gurton Buster definitely should have been a front runner, yet he started back around 10th.
Only a handful of laps in and Webster suffered the same fate as GB, self-spinning off of turn 2.
Racing to the line, The Bear was doing his damnedest to block Tnadz, holding on to that lead lap (even though he would have gotten the lucky dog...but that's not nearly as fun).
While only 20 laps in and well short of the window, almost the whole field came in.
Then, Tnadz surrendered the lead to The Egg and pitted. Would the weird strategy work?
On restart, Egg, Slab, Buster and Webster were all nestled close to the front.
Slab was having a rough go of the outside wall, concerning GB.
As he moved the 8 truck over to avoid Slab, Webster got a tap from Franklin.
And it ended worse than finding a human head at the bottom of a KFC bucket.
Under caution, Darrel was having brake trouble.
Back to green and it was the Egg and Buster show (is that a real thing?).
And immediately it was scrambled Egg as he went to chop down in front of Vickers.
Suddenly, all the humans running at the front were fully involved.
Running back to take the caution, Willis bizarrely brake checked at the pace car which had just come on track, catching both the 8 and Gut Slab in a nasty crash.
Back under green and about 1/3rd into the race, Tnadz was moving up the field with Egg and Slab not far behind right around the top 10.
Suddenly it happened again and Buster was around. His race was getting worse quickly.
Approaching the wreck, Hamilton ran over Smith and they both went synchronized spinning.
While it was just outside the fuel window, everyone was in and Egg was not far off from the 13 of Tnadz.
On the restart, Tnadz was fighting to maintain 3-wide and not die while that caused a small slow up, dominoing back to White, Not White.
Egg managed to slip through as Franklin cue-balled into Gurton Buster.
Hamilton tried to thread the gap but was caught out at an awkward angle.
He was hard, nose first, into the wall.
Coming to the line, Tnadz was still fighting with Hillesheim and the 12 when finally the 3 got caught out.
Several more came in for what would most likely be the final stop.
This handed the lead to Tnadz who had to deal with lappers. The Egg was not far behind and gaining ground.
Speaking of, despite all the set backs and damage, Buster was moving through the field but had a road block ahead of him.
And that's when his buddy Franklin found him.
The damage wasn't getting much better but at least his truck was lighter.
The restart cleared some lap traffic and The Egg was nose to tail with Tnadz.
It wasn't long before another crash and it was Darrel who had a moment with Hillesheim.
Maybe a couple moments.
Same caution and GB was spun AGAIN. This time by Shorter.
But Franklin wanted to make sure he got some hits in also.
Back to racing and The Egg just had to clear Theile and it was a showdown.
Until the 8 was, once more, turned around.
Under green and The Bear had made inroads to podium position behind Egg and Tnadz.
But a touch off the wall and contact with Collins quickly spoiled the milk.
While he wasn't really crashed, he had nowhere to go and was stuck behind the sliding trucks of Tressler and Mel, dropping a ton of spots.
The next restart got interesting at the front as Scholz managed to slow down Tnadz.
The Egg took advantage and it was a drag race for 1st.
Of course that means another wreck was brewing and it was the good ol' friends of Buster and Franklin, bringing Cooper into the mix.
Coming to the line, Maksajda was an obstacle and The Egg only just missed out on taking the lead.
With less than 10 to go, The Bear was running off line.
The new line was unsuccessful.
But it did collect Gurton Buster who has a perfect wreckord of being in every crash in the race!
Three laps of racing, no lappers, no damage. The scene was set for an exciting sprint to the end between Egg and Tnadz.
Which meant Darrel needed to cause a wreck, cutting the race short to finish under yellow. Hey, there's GB.
Not satisfied with a 2nd place under yellow, The Egg let Darrel know what he thought of his driving.
And so Tnadz took the win and another race completes behind the pace car.
Off for a week and then it's on to the only road course of the series: Mosport / Canadian Tire.
