Race 1:
The start was chaotic as per protocol.
Webster had a hard start and fell from a top twenty to well back in the field.
The Bear switched up his strategy and changed to the Bengals to limit his team's poor performance. He managed a top ten. Pretty good.
The Egg was top ten until he was disqualified for something.
Slab managed to finish right in front of The Bear in 7th.
The end of the race was really exciting. With 4 to go, GB spun Tnadz for the lead.
They both managed to point the right way and get going for what was almost a nail-biting finish.
But Tnadz was delayed. Even enough that 3rd place Hamilton made a pass.
Until he was spun by The Bear and Tnadz slipped back ahead to 2nd.
And despite a few incidents, Gurton Buster held the lead and got the win.
Race 2:
Well, things didn't end well in the second go around for Hamilton and Slab who died from engine failure and completely obliteration respectively.
The Egg, despite his best efforts to foil others, also died.
The Bear managed a 12th. Maybe there's something to this Bengals thing. Just like the Browns, you have to replace people to see results.
Mad Max made a recovery from Race 1 and placed 8th.
Tnadz and Webster fought a bit for second with Zack ultimately claiming the spot.
And despite some mild harassment from the other podium finishers, Gurton Buster took another win to the bank and the lead in the standings.
Race 3:
GB was under attack early as the final race with full damage kicked off.
But it would be The Egg who would be the first to die. A serious series of terrible luck for this one.
While finishing out of the top twenty, Gut Slab had an eventful race. And a relatively clean car...
Gurton Buster did not. After recovering from starting procedures, his baby got back ended by the Falcons.
Which sent him into Gut Slab.
Who he viciously attacked for the encounter, despite Slab having nothing to do with it. Savagery!
Just as he got going he was rear ended again, this time by the Browns.
And it was Sandy delivering the 1-2 punch to finally end the 42's day. Surprisingly, the Bear was undamaged and took a 7th. Clearly, the team swap was working.
Even though Gut Slab tried to make it otherwise, Webster stayed (mostly) clean and free from harm to take 6th.
Even more surprisingly, Mad Max was just as clean and ended up 4th! Disappointing.
It all came down to Tnadz and Hamilton in the final laps. Tnadz made the move past the Colts for the lead.
But Darrel managed to slip by and, with less damage, hold on for a win, bolstering his points and keeping him right in sight of the points lead.
On to a staple of the series, North Carolina Jump.
