2021-1 NASCAR Cup Series - Round 15: Charlotte

Great set of races (for some) and all were filled with major destruction.

Race 1:

The first sprint saw Tnadz and Zolecki at the front with the mountain men very close behind.

A couple laps in, the mountain men started getting crunched, and at the same time.

And it got nuttier from there.

The Egg got slapped by Almirola.

And continued to be involved...

...getting Slab caught out and hard into the pile.

Eventually the leaders caught the pile and managed to be caught in it.  Tnadz was crushed while Zolecki climbed back up to 5th, highest human.

Race 2:

Tnadz managed a good pole and took advantage.  But soon his mirror was filled with the 26.

The Egg was slow and caused a big accordion.

And also spun the 4 of Harvick right in front of Gut Slab.

Back at the front, Tnadz and Zolecki were have a fierce battle and came into traffic where Jamie caught the rear and slid.

But he immediately gathered it back up and took advantage of Tnadz scraping the wall to fight back for the lead.

Than as more traffic came into play, he threw it into the wall to avoid Darrel.

And then they both wadded up into the wall and traffic, Zolecki getting the worst of it.

Tnadz then was able to just limp it home for a win.

Race 3:

Tnadz wasn't able to rival Zolecki and barely managed to stay near the front for the finale.

Hamilton caused strife very quickly bouncing the wall and collecting others.

He got away with it while others suffered.

Gut Slab was damaged early on and ended up wiping out up the track.

Later, Hamilton ended up in the wall with the 6 and rolled hard, bringing out the caution.

First fuel stops.

On the restart, The Egg lit up the tires and took a detour.

Tnadz was struggling against the crowd and was spending some time in the wall, slowing him to where The Egg came up fast and the two came together.

Later on in the race, Tnadz rolled the dice on fuel and took back the lead with Jamie closing in.

The next caution was c/o Darrel coming together hard with Hamilton, taking them both out.

Coming to the line, Zolecki with his fresher rubber was able to just take the position.

Not that it was going to be close at the end as he walked well away from Tnadz who struggled to get back 2nd place before the end.

On to Sonoma
