2021-1 NASCAR Cup Series - Round 21: New Hampshire

Race 1:

The first spring started a treat with The Bear running the pole for the first time in the series.

It was a solid 8 laps before the first issue.  Hamilton got a little too hot into turn 1.

The Egg was working up through the field, taking out competitors.

It was closing in on the end when a sudden Slab was in the fast lane off of 4 and both Tnadz and Bear tried to throw it outside to avoid.

But he disappeared at the last second and Bear ran into Tnadz, sending the two bouncing off the walls and down the order.

The Egg 2 then managed to come through with the win.

Race 2:

Zolecki replaced Bear at the pole, having a fun drag race down into 1.

Slab threw it straight into traffic.

But just ahead, Hamilton was also getting into trouble.

Which quickly devolved into flying cars.

Zolecki then walked away, his winning streak broken but back in the command seat.

Race 3:

It was mostly a repeat for the start for the finale.

Hamilton continued to suffer from oversteer problems, bringing out the first yellow after a few laps.

Figuring the field would top off, the top 3 pulled in while everyone else stayed out.

It would prove problematic as the 47 clipped the 13 and the rebounding becan.

Slab had a lone spin pulling another caution.

The Bear was able to get back to the front, leading under caution but quickly being caught by others.

Very quickly though, Slab was out of control again for another yellow.

Darrel brought on the next one after going 4 wide into 3.

Sandy had a stirring race to the line.

Slab came back again, taking out the 8 and Bubba as he turned it up on the side.

Coming into the final run to the finish, Tnadz was stuck on a slowed 15 of Poole and Chase came flying up to knock him around, The Bear flying into the mix and the two fell right to the back once again.

Zolecki was hotly pursued by The Egg but held on for a slow crawl to the checkered.

On to a proper road course: Watkins Glen.
