2023-2 IROC: Daytona Road Course

Race 1:


Tnadz led them to T1 where things stayed fairly tidy.

That lasted all of 2 corners before Slab slapped Johnson and caught out the Bear in the Horseshoe.

GB was up the track taking out Cheever Jr.  Not the last transgression he'd have in the night.  Oh no...

Not but a corner later, he was trying to ram Pruett right into Webster out of the bus stop.

In a wild exchange, The Egg pulled a powerslide through T1 and nearly made his wild maneuver work...

But he barely tipped Zolecki around and proceeded to hit him again.  It was difficult to tell if the intention was to set him points straight, but the bang on effect was that Zolecki ended up hitting The Egg and sending him into the wall and around.  Both would end up heavily down due to worn tires with GB pitting and Egg climbing back to 3rd.

Tnadz took the win only seconds ahead of a quickly closing Webster.

Race 2:
The second outting wasn't as successful into T1 as Gut Slab slid about and Zolecki took a spin in front of traffic, severely impeding Tnadz and others.

He then proceeded to cheat the snot out of the race and snuck on pit road.

Which avoided Slab's droppings completely.  A clear advantage that  the stewards won't stand for.

As Zack shot up the order, he biffed Biffle at the bus stop.  Tnadz appreciated the help and was work frantically to close the gap.

Meanwhile, at the front, things were heating up between the two humans.

With 2 to go, The Bear suddenly became a factor as Zolecki had been piling on the pressure.

Somehow, GB overcame the Suddenly Sandy moment and caught back up, taking a fierce fight to The Egg into Horseshoe.  But that's when things came undone as the car put on too much slide and came around, letting Egg run into the sunset.

As if to say, "Good race", Egg turned around and went backwards, straight into traffic as Webster, Tnadz and The Bear attempted to finish their race.  One of those drivers didn't make it.  Fortunately, the win would then transfer to Zolecki with Webster not far away in 2nd and Tnadz sliding up into 3rd.
