Points:  +1 for leading a lap

Series Specific Rules:

• "Success Ballast" will be instituted by forcing drivers to skip qualifying if they are 5th or better in the standings at the start of the round
• 1 mulligan per race allowed if called by a driver who hasn't completed their first lap & hasn't been lapped.
• Playoffs will be held for two round increments starting 5 rounds from the end.  Wins in the playoff rounds will grant an automatic pass to the next playoff round.  The remaining contestants will be determined by points.  All drivers proceeding to the following playoff round will receive 1000 points.  If drivers in playoff rounds fail to qualify to the next round playoff round, they will have 1000 or 2000 points deducted depending on which playoff rounds they lose (i.e. they are returned to the general pool of drivers competing for championship points except the final 4).
• In the event of a points tie for 1st at the end of the season, the winner will be determined by most wins, 2nds, 3rds, etc.

Drop Races
6 races will be considered Drop Races: They will not count towards a driver's final score.  Missed races will be counted as Drop Races via a provisional entry.
