Bitter, horrid, depressing, disappointing, dismal, deranged. All these describe our second visit to Kansas. This was not the same track we raced earlier in the season. I don't know where they put it, but it wasn't here. Qualifying was rough, but once again, I proved it doesn't matter. I collected an idiot, Busch who didn't know to stay high and was later destroyed by Jeff Gordon under caution. My car limped to the pits and lost its header. Darrel had some loose conditions he struggled with until his car finally gave up. Sandy also blew his engine with no apparent cause. Scot managed to continue on, however, even after driving with a blown tire, getting towed, and getting involved in eve more wrecks. Chad did not join us. I think he made the right choice. This was our worst group average finish all season (35). Shameful. But fear not, our next race is at Charlotte. And if you don't remember what happened last time, take a look at the video. By the end, you could have been DQ'ed and finished in the top 15...
