Nascar Cup 2011 Race 28 - Loudon

Chad and I were out, so here is an excerpt from Sandy's email:

Check out who won.  Darrel had another horrible night...He spun on his own, in turn 4, but he got down on the apron without being hit.  I was running at the tail of the field at the time, about 8 car lenghts behind Robby Gordon.  I saw Darrel on the apron, and slowed and gave him plenty of room.  Gordon was even higher on the track than I was, and all at once he dive bombed Darrel, crashed right in to him, and killed him.  Of course Gordon continued on.  The last restart with about 15 to go was exciting.  I was running 3rd, and passed the second place car on the first turn after the restart.  Then had to run agains McMurray for several laps before I finally got by him.  The yellow came out with 4 to go so I didn't have to hold onto the lead for very long under green.  Scot was at the end of the field with 10 to go, and with incredible driving got to 4th.  He was passing 5 at a time, and going 3 wide into the corners.  He finally wrecked someone, or he would have threatened me.  Chad didn't join tonight...And also notice, NO penalties.  Now I guess it's clear who the cheaters and villains are...



So seems exciting.  May have a replay, though probably not.  Just ran Dover so this is kind of a double post.  Results!
