British World Touring Car Championship 2013 - 10-12 Outlon Park "Fosters"

Race 1: Unfortunately Chad dropped out early after some troublesome connectivity issues.  He will take a DNS for these 3 races and take the average points for the end of the season.  The rest of us carried on.  Darrel and I stayed out in front most of the time.  Although it was Sandy and Darrel from the start.  About halfway through the race, I closed to 4th behind Sandy and Plato just in time to see Plato run him off the road in the downhill.  Plato was immediately penalized by my bumper which was fortunate because he didn't have to worry about a points or placement deduction.  Scot and Sandy did OK and managed some good 20+ positions.

Race 2: Darrel and I started at the rear and managed to move into the 1st and 2nd position for the end of the race, even after a few excursions.  Scot held on for a hard earned 11th place, even when facing connectivity issues.  Sandy would suffer many atrocities while attempting to come through the field and and struggle to finish in the low twenties.

Race 3:  With full damage on, Scot would get caught in a tussle that started out innocent enough as aggressive racing between some nearby racers but ended with Scot badly damaged.  By the time he returned to the track, he was well down the order and ended up losing an engine anyway.  Tough luck, Scot.  Darrel and I were starting in the back and worked towards the front.  Early on I was spun by Hines coming up the hill which also slowed up Darrel.  After about 3 laps, both Darrel and I finally started working through traffic.    By race end, Darrel had taken too much abuse to be able to make it to the top ten.  But Sandy stayed vigilant and held on for a swift, last-second steal of 9th place.  That finish pushed him into 29th for points and within striking distance of Chad and Scot.

Next week has us still in England at the famous, WWII airport track, Croft.  Out of 10 for this series, this track's difficulty is somewhere around a 5 or 6 for its flat and fast sections and sharp turns.
