British World Touring Car Championship 2013

The time is finally upon us.  After much build up and anticipation for this series, it is now here.  The British World Touring Car Championship 2013.  Our first, exclusively road course series.  The rules are different and should make for exciting racing.

Mod: BTCC

Venue Breakdown:

• 3 races: Equal lengths (~20 mins/ea)
• 1st race will have Practice, Qualifying, Happy Hour, Race
• Race 2 and 3 will only have Qualifying and Race

Tire/Fuel Wear 2x,3x (should be no pit stops)
Hardcore Mode: Enabled
Caution flags: Off
AI strength: 70-80%* (may modify in special instances)
Damage: Off, Moderate, Realistic (may modify in special instances)
Starts: Standing (set to Full Pace Lap for standing starts if practicing offline)

Points:

Top 20 earn points as follows:

1st = 20 pts

2nd = 19 pts

3rd = 18 pts

.....

20th through 43rd = 1 pt (Must finish race.  No DNFs)

1pt for leading a lap

1pt for leading the most laps

1pt for the pole

Missed Races
In the event that races are missed, make up points will be calculated based on your average race points for the season.  This can be done for up to 5 venues and cannot be applied to the final venue.

Rules, Regs and Notes:

1) Success Ballast (added weight): All humans finishing in the top 5 must forego qualifying in the next race.  That is, start qualifying (press "Drive") and immediately "Abort Qualifying".  Failure to do so = non-scoring race.

1a) AI drivers with three consecutive top 3's will be penalized 1pt for each successive race, additively until they finish out of the top 3.  Ex, 1pt on race four, 2pts on race five, and so on up to 5pts.

2) The BTCC is known for aggressive, yet professional racing.  Let us avoid obvious, unsportsman-like misconduct.  This includes, purposefully wrecking, dive bombing, and running wide others.

3) No mulligans or restarts baring any technical glitches.
