British World Touring Car Championship 2013 - 7-9 Thruxton

Thruxton was a great, fast course with plenty of challenge to keep us on our toes.  There was some issue with qualifying as we spent some serious time trying to all get in the race without being blocked out.  But we all got going.  Darrel and I force started in the back a few times and managed to get some good track position.  Darrel wrecked in the third race after some AI intervention.  Scot and Chad had some bad luck through some of the trickier parts of the track still working out the new mechanics of the V8s.  But their efforts were not in vain and they did manage to get things under control coming towards the end of the event.  Sandy had some ups and downs through the course as well, nearly hitting Darrel in seemingly every turn.  He would wreck on the second race, his first DNF.

Our next track is one of my personal favorites:  Oulton Park "Fosters" circuit.  This track is short and easy to learn allowing more focus on racing car-on-car instead of car-on-track.  Just be careful on that turn into the overpass, going wide will kill you.  No video this week as I'm a bit overburdened with work related items.  But I will get us for Oulton Park.
