British World Touring Car Championship 2013 - 13-15 Croft

Well, we made it through one of the more difficult tracks in the series and came out the other side.  All humans finished all races so points were had all around.  No Chad this week and I will not be here next week.  Since Tunngle requires some particular setting up, we will not be racing next week.  The next track will be Snetterton if you'd like some practice and I've emailed the updated .ini file to the group to use.  Now it won't be hot enough for scorpions in England.

Race 1:
Everyone in the back and things started off rocky with Darrel causing trouble against the wall and then me hitting him.  We all eventually got things straightened out and carried on.  Mostly uneventful except for Darrel having an off road excursion coming to the line and loosing some spots.  Sandy had a very exciting finish with one of the Jags, racing door to door the entire lap.  Some unintentional intervention on my part caused his nemesis to run off in to the pits though.

Race 2:
Again, back to the back.  The most destructive start for the night with a massive pileup at the first 3 turns and then a major jam on the back stretch.  We all took some thrashing throughout the race, especially Scot, but made it home OK.  This was the first race that nearly broke my streak with Mansell running within 2 seconds for most of the lap.  If it weren't for a lap car, he would have been within striking distance had I slipped up (and I was doing that quite a bit).

Race 3:
Damage on full, Captain!  Darrel got up to mid pack and continued on from there.  I got rolled just after the start/finish and so did Scot a couple laps later.  We all took some wild rides through this one but survived and earned our coin.

On to yet another converted airport track:  Snetterton.
