Pot Luck 17 - R34 GNC Carnival

A bit of a weird one this past week as the series hit the GNC stuntroad for a short stint.  Everything was prepped for a classic Twisted Metal Tour-style set of 3 races with progressive damage.  However, due to technical issues with the mod, only one race was able to be completed and only at 7 laps, full damage.  Because of the setback, the race points were figured as if three races were to be ran.

Race 1:

Riggleman lead the field to the flag as others were stuck in the back through requirement or choice.

And for them, it wasn't a great start as the log jam in turn one held them up tremendously.

Scot took a cunning approach and road the wall to the outside.  Little damage and a slight delay but it paid off.

Slab was just completely turned and rode the short chute in reverse.

Gurton Buster seemingly was getting back at Myer for a previous TMT track (Bonecrusher) coming on to the front stretch.  He did let him get going, however so it was either an accident or he wanted to hit him some more.  Maybe both?  Tnadz, however got the short end of the stick and cut his tire on the IKEA car, having to drive the entire track length to get it fixed.

Slab was having difficulties along the route and was using the walls to body slam cars.  A fine strategy!

These two destruction rivals weren't done.

They came to blows as Buster was working his way by.  At this point he shunted Myer to the wall and sped off.

Myer then took his frustrations out on the 188 of Monteiro, although it ruined them both.

Mark was well in the lead but his car was having a rough go of things and he was turned around on occasion.

But he held on to finish in traditional style, flying across the line.

It's a sad day we couldn't see the track on its typical configuration of three races but there's still another choice from Scot for the finale.  Could be fun!  For now, it's on to GB's final choice of Sebring.
