Race 1:
With 55 laps and no damage cars were everywhere and tirewear was very real. This was just the first lap but could have been any lap.
Despite not having damage, Tnadz pulled a Scot and severely damaged his engine a few laps in. Without hope of finishing well, he made mayhem until he was eventually DQed.
Gut Slab also killed an invincible car some laps later.
Mad Max and Gurton Buster floated around the points bubble most of the race owing to various levels of catastrophe. At least GB managed some revenge from a long-ago Bone Crusher.
The Bear managed a well earned 5th with Hamilton clinging to 2nd for the better part of the race.
But the decisive winner by a margin of 4 LAPS was The Egg who smashed through the dog piles and distractions of malady to take his first season win.
Race 2:
Mad Max was in true form but his car-mounting tactics didn't help him with damage set to Moderate, even if it was only for 28 laps. He was dead about halfway after getting blasted from this incident.
Hamilton didn't wait long to join him. In fact, it was Myhr who sent him down the road of destruction only a lap earlier. Darrel's engine would die from general wear and tear as well as hard landings.
Gut Slab had a good showing and brought on a lot of pain but was killed just before the finish.
The Bear had a lackluster race with only a 23rd to show. But it was a finish and a race survived.
The Egg used up his good car in Race 1 brought home a 15th.
Despite early setbacks, GB held on for 8th and was kind enough to not destroy Tnadz who took the 1st within the last few laps and the win.
Race 3:
29 laps and full damage made short work of the better part of the field. The first human casualty was Gut Slab who did a nose dive over the jump and was rolled about a bit.
Hamilton helped him out with that. His engine lasted for several more laps before it finally didn't.
The Bear was very close behind along with Buster after GB lost it over the ramp and The Bear caught him in his landing.
Mad Max kept things together and going until the end with a respectable 8th while Hamilton managed another outstanding 4th with teammates bringing in more points.
The Egg looked like he was going to take another victory when he ran into some trouble just over the jump.
He didn't die but it slowed him down tremendously allowing Tnadz to make the pass.
And while he was starting to close in at the end, there simply weren't enough laps left to reclaim the spot, giving Tnadz two in a row.
Demo Mission 8 is up next and will be a Wild Card. Those are always fun.
