2020-2 Trans L'American Series - Round 1: Daytona Road Course

Two 15 lappers.  Pit stops suggested for fuel and it was a great race both times.  

Race 1: Egg and Tnadz fought it out for the lead through most of the race with Tnadz slowly drifting back and getting damage.  Webster and Zolecki encountered some rough times as they fought for finishes in the teens.  Hamilton rage quit and The Bear struggled to stay alive

Race 2: The second race had the two top finishers start in the back and they made a mad dash through turn one.  But in the braking zone, The Egg and Tnadz tangled with an AI, somehow holding onto it.  Things kicked off up the order as first Egg and another car touched coming out of turn 4, sending him upside down and basically ending the race.  Jamie had a wreck shortly after that at the horseshoe that started at the esses and firing out into traffic.  He managed to get going again and they both passed Webster who was booped around at the other horseshoe.  Jamie then had an off at the same place after catching back up to Tnadz and eventually succumbing to damage.  Webster gained back enough spots for a mid teen finish, despite getting spun by a chicaning, Mad Max.  Tnadz ultimately held on for the win though.

2020 Super Speedway Series - Round 12: JGIR

Joe Gibbs International Raceway was the final setting for the Super Speedway Championship.  With Webster and Zolecki only a few points apart, it was anyone's series to win.  The 7+ mile track took no prisoners.

Race 1:

Tnadz was involved in the first wreck on lap 1, getting hit from the 03 and sent into the 5, rolling down the backstretch.

Zolecki was working his way up the order as they came to the tunnels when Bear ping-ponged him into Hemmingsen.

The results were not good for anyone.

The Egg was keeping up with the main group when there was a little bit of contact while pushing  for positions.  He fell back a bit but there was still another lap to go.

GB and Tnadz managed to get close together and were running with a small group when Tnadz miscalculated and ended up causing a large crash.  At this point, the championship was looking set as Zolecki needed to finish higher than 9th.

Egg made for a thrilling finish while trying to hold off 3 competitors to the line.  He managed a 12th while Webster finished just ahead in 10th.

Race 2:

Lap one was nearly finished when GB had a bit of netcode collect those around him, sending him to the back.

Fortunately there were cautions and no damage as everyone came to pit road.

For whatever reason, the 1-to-go was waived and drivers were in for a second stop.  This lead to Egg and Webster losing the draft...

...Bear helped them out and caused another caution though.

By this point there were 3 more laps left.  All of a sudden, the inside line checked up as some tried to slow for the pits, causing a mega crash.

Webster's SS guardian angels, parted the sea of chaos and he slipped from 38th to 4th while barely avoiding flying cars.  Truly a most impressive way to win the championship.

And ultimately the race as all those ahead pitted on the last lap, yielding him the win.  Egg took 2nd with The Bear 4th and Tnadz 5th.  Zolecki was grieving back in the 20's

Congratulations to the series winner, Zack Webster who had incredible composure, talent and luck throughout the series.  And help from Jamie.
