2020 Super Speedway Series - Round 10: Papyrus

Papyrus marks the last Super Road Course on the schedule.  After running into uncompromising issues, yellow flags were turned off for Race 2.  Things were crazy both races.

Race 1:

Race one began with Zolecki and Tnadz high up the order.  When coming out of the hard left hander, the 71 did a brake check, causing a large wreck.

It was quite large.  Hamilton mirrored Tnadz's experience and went flying down the road.

He then rolled The Bear over when trying to get going, after being tapped by Myhr.

Jamie was up near the top when he was nearly wiped out by the 23.

But instead, he turned it around and cause the 23 to collect a few others behind.

The finish was very exciting as he chased Lapcevich down the track, wrecking across the line and barely holding onto the win.  Webster wasn't far behind, finishing 7th.

Race 2:

Tnadz started off Race 2 with a great qualy lap and quickly got to the front.

It was a war for lap one as Tagliani almost undid him in the right turn.

Directly behind, Mad Max blew into the corner, running the 99 up the track.

It ended badly.

It almost did for Hamilton as well as he came off the wall into traffic.  But he was able to catch it with minimal damage and keep going.

Zolecki was nearly into the top 5 when he got a ghost tap from the 73, rolling him up into the wall and effectively destroying his race.

Webster also took a chunk out of the competition, very close behind.

Not thrilled with the AI's rude driving, Hamilton drove his busted car into the lead pack.

Webster may have been concerned but it didn't show as he simply pulled to the left and squeezed through the most tiny gap around the incident.

He even had time to take out the impostor 23.

And the Egg after he emerged from the pits.  However, in this case, it looked like they would miss.  Then there was some quick juking by both parties and by the time the distance was closed, contact was made, and so was an omlette.

The highest placing human was Tnadz in 6th with Webster and Egg not far behind in 12th and 14th respectively.

The penultimate track of Dragon-Nett looms in the future and should be very interesting.
