2021-1 NASCAR Cup Series - Round 7: Bristol Dirt

Bristol Dirt was the first real short track of the season and held its history of ridiculous wrecks and close racing.

Race 1:

Things started off with a lot of promise as Zolecki took a strong lead and left a scramble for 3rd.

Gut Slab started falling back and resorted to wrecking ball status.

His first major crash took down Tnadz who was trying to chase down the 26.

But no one could catch Jamie and he took the first win.

Race 2:

Race 2, the 26 threw it up the inside for an early lead.

Tnadz was contesting with Myhr who was destroying the piss out of others.

The rest of the race was trashed thanks to Scot and Slab crashing into every car they could and would suffer penalty points for their behavior.

Tnadz would once again be knocked out of the race after a crash into Hamilton who was hiding in the dust.

Even Jamie had problems at the end.

This ultimately cost him the second win of the night and he only just made it past Nemecheck for a 2nd.

Race 3:

A corrupt replay file prevented some screenshots but it was about as expected with lots of yellow flag running.  Tnadz nearly grabbed a win but without a chance to pass Almirola under green, he only had a second place with Gut Slab pulling off a top 10.
