Race 1:
Zack started his 40 laps just squeezing through the initial cluster.
But he managed to get trampled by a few runners from the inside after he made contact with his Raiders.
Then his race proceeded to be one of the worst he'd had.
He couldn't hardly go a lap without slamming into someone at the intersection.
Or even getting wrecked on the turns. In this case, he caught on the paint. It must still be wet.
At one point, he embarrassingly had the Saints land on him while he tried to get going.
Many of his passes through the center ended like this.
Or this.
And he even had a run in with Scot.
And Darrel wanted to also get his slaps in before we go to the next series where it's frowned upon. Zack didn't do very well but his team managed to pop one in the top 10 (Most top 10s was the winning criteria for the Wild Card).
Darrel started off trying to stay on the back side of the starting disaster. He got to see Sandy help launch his Ravens above the competition.
He then managed to go several laps unadulterated with collisions. But it did eventually happen.
And he was find himself having to be towed.
But once back out, he was avoiding some crazy wrecks and working the field fairly well.
Nowhere was safe and Darrel bravely rolled into this mess.

Scot was there for the final rounds as well. He spectated as the crowd formed a pile.
Thinking he was safe, he proceeded around the debris only to be swung about by the mountain men.
Scot had fewer issues with the intersection than he did with the trouble coming out of it.
Although he still managed to get caught in the particle accelerator Good thing it was just Zack.
Like Darrel, Scot blew through sketchy situations.

Again, he did was constantly dealing with sitting cars on the other side of the cross over.
I greatly approved of his reverse driving after clearing the wall. He placed fairly well.
Sandy's race didn't go much better than Zack's. Actually much worse.
As you saw, he joined the mosh pit and tried to get his Baltimore Ravens crowd surfing.
Rolled Scot.
And got spun himself.
There wasn't much in the way of issues afterwards.
Just a collision or two.
One he might need to hit the pits for.
Then around lap 10, he came upon Zack struggling with his ride and tried to drive through but got the slightest of taps from that 21 Chargers car.
He swerved down the track and bounced the wall.
That sent him to the far side of the intersection wall where he was stuck on the barrels.
He called for a tow but was black flagged and DQed for reckless driving. Zack had thrown down the glove in a big way.
My race was pretty typical. I had a decent lead in points so I just went Hulk-Smash on everyone. You can imagine how that went.
Race 2:
From 40 to 20 laps and damage on Moderate, we were once again into the breach. And it was a disaster. Sandy was dead almost immediately.
I was fairly broken while Scot and Darrel cautiously maneuvered around although that Vikings car wouldn't make it another lap before a run-in at the middle.
Zack impacted on some of the left over debris and drove it into the pits for safety and repairs.
Next time around, I had a meeting with the Bengals. Sorry, Sandy.
Darrel got pummeled by three or four teams simultaneously.
And once Zack was back out, he very quickly met his demise.

With all of us out, eyes turned towards Zack's Chiefs and Broncos to try and get a top 10 (they were 11th and 13th) and Scot's Green Bay Packers who had moved well up the order and were striving for the lead.
Rob's Rams were running first but it looked like the Packers were going to easily rob it from them.
In the last lap, the opportunity was there and it was a three-way run between the Rams, Cornhuskers and Packers.
But Green Bay couldn't make the high line work and just managed to get their 2nd place back at the checkers.
Race 3:
With a shutout in Race 2 for Sandy and Zack from the top 10, it would come down to the final round of the series to determine who would win or lose big. With damage full and 20 laps to stay alive, we all laid way back.
There were junkyards.
I was the only one really involved in the first one which did damage to many.
Scot and Zack were playing a dicey game of cat and mouse at the intersection.
Darrel had some trouble early and slammed the Lions just after the cross-over. Not dead but he'd need some love from the ice cream eaters.
With my early damage, Scot eventually caught me and watched to see if I'd screw up.
But it would be that tricky paint that would catch him and send the Vikings spinning.
While Zack was trailing just behind the Mad Max, he got a right hook from the Packers!
But Sandy wasn't ready to run off with winnings yet because Scot was busy getting himself turned back around from a spin.
They just clipped and Sandy somehow held onto the thing.
Not long after, Darrel met his end. #broken.
After many laps, I railed the Raiders who were holding in the top 5. They would fall to 9th meaning that Sandy would need to get a 10th or better along with his remaining Bengals to make it a draw in the series.
I almost prevented that after turning back onto the track, looking for anything to hit with my dying momentum.
Sandy and Cincinnati were flying in formation. The Bengals held 1st and Sandy just had to basically stay alive and move up a few more positions to keep from losing 12 points.
Scot had a surprising end when the Colts sideswiped him on the way by.
A hard lick would end the game for Myer just before the end of the race.
Suddenly a moment! The Cardinals barely caught the 22 who was doing so well leading, causing major engine damage.
Coming to the white flag, they went for the pits and killed themselves on the end of pit road.
The Bengals managed to stay in the top 5 but Sandy just couldn't pass enough cars before the end of the race, ending 11th! One more lap and he would have likely passed more dead cars. That gave Zack the advantage and a haul of points. But it still wasn't enough to close the gap to first for the series which went to me.
That series was a blast but now we move our attention to something completely different. The Supercars of Australia await us next week as we start off the series at Teratunga in New Zealand for a series of exhibition races. Well done everyone.
