2020-2 Trans L'American Series - Round 5: Watkins Glen

After about every technical issue that delayed the start and a pit bug causing stops to be dropped, wear was changed to 1x from 3x and laps reduced from 14 to 9.

Race 1:

Zolecki was the only driver to get a jump on the field, barely grabbing the pole ahead of a voracious field.  Webster, Egg and Tnadz had to fight their way up with many issues keeping them from gaining hardly anything.  Hamilton had his own issues which were attributed to Zack and The Bear was left afield on his own.

Race 2:

Egg managed a 4th to start with Tnadz and Webster at the back of Pro.  He was pinched at the front but held his line and kept in the top 3 while Zolecki blew up the inside passed the carnage and was within the top 5 by turn 1.

Behind that action, The Bear was laying the groundwork for a demolition masterpiece.  Without hardly trying, he came off the inside wall, somehow causing several cars to collect themselves...

...and as Slab lead the whole Am class into the mix, the largest wreck in the Trans L'American Series took shape.

Zolecki made the pass on Webster and gapped the field for a double win at the Glen.
