It was a wild night at Homestead with a fine climax and lots of unfortunate happenings throughout the evening.

Race 1:

The first casualty was Webster getting a bump from Bowman as he came down a little on the track.

Bowman also took out Smith with a brake check.

Then there was a much larger incident caused by The Egg as he got too aggressive in the pack, sending cars flying.

It was a comfortable win for Zolecki who ran first the whole race.

Race 2:

The second stage had Tnadz on the pole but he was snookered as Hamlin forced the low line and Jones up just to Smith's bumper, giving him a tap as the 13 tried to dive through the preferred line.  Somehow, Zolecki was lucky and slotted perfectly through the gap of the two spinning cars.

Bowman's reign of terror continued on the humans as Gut Slab was slapped with a hip check causing a large wreck.

While his compatriots suffered quite a bit, Zolecki went for the double, again, mostly alone.

Race 3:

From 14 to 42 laps Tnadz once again earned pole but a lunge by Zolecki forced him up to the highline where he was hung out to dry.

Later he would touch DiBenedetto, upsetting the car and pulling the caution.  The start of his 3rd ruined race.

After the stop, the field only took right sides, setting Zolecki and The Egg back in the pack a ways where they both fought back to the front.

It was getting towards halfway when the 26 was able to make the move but The Egg was not far behind.

Another caution and another instance of right sides for the field except the two humans going for broke.  The Egg was putting on serious moves to keep the 26 in sight as they advanced up the order.  Both drivers going into 4-wide situations.  Zolecki ended up tapping the 11 of Hamlin, sending him up to the wall and creating a cascade effect.

That backup slowed the cars in front of The Egg and he got into the 8, bringing out yet another caution and creating a large incident.

It came down to a one-lap shootout and Egg was now right on the back of Zolecki in a mad scramble for the top.

But it was Jamie who would make a last second pass for the hat trick.  The Egg not able to advance beyond 3rd before the end.  If not for the last caution, it could have been a very different result.
