2021-2 Pot Luck Challenge - Round 2: Lake Afton

Back to some historical content at the narrow "street circuit" of Lake Afton.  3 sprint races, 10 laps each

Race 1:

This was the L1 T1, and it's actually probably one of the more tame starts.

The Egg managed to lead the way through the race until the last lap when Tnadz was cue balled right into him by Mike Skinner who went on to win just ahead of Egg.

Race 2:

Race two saw Zolecki and Tnadz drag race repeatedly into turn 1.

A slight shove wide kept the 11 from running into first but Tnadz yielded the position back.

However, the next time around, Jamie overcooked it into 1 and let slip the Smith.

Slab was pounding through traffic and nearly sent Elliott into the back of The Bear.

Back at the front, Ross and Jamie were cross sabers.  Jamie was a little faster but couldn't find a way through without being aggressive.

Traffic kept Jamie from getting some last attempts in and Tnadz took the win.

Race 2:

The start on this one was even more violent than before, and a misunderstanding on the timing of gear loss from Hamilton caused him to drop out.

After getting a major shunt from Tnadz, GB was fighting back when Oily Dave Marcus ran him off the road.

It was insult to injury as Slab gave him a smash on the way through.

He managed to make up positions passed Tnadz who kept getting tangled with traffic.

The Egg finally took that win in the end.

He also picks next week's race at Homestead.
