Shorties 24-26 Dakota Dirt

The penultimate race is here and it really set the pace going into the final round...literally.

Race 1:

The first sprint was set for 30 laps of dirty racing.  Zack launched up the inside from 7th on the grid to challenge the leaders immediately.

After some good back and forth with Tnadz, he shifted the weight a tad too much and looped it for one of the first few cautions.

It didn't take long until we had more.

The Bear even got in on the fun just before the end of the race.

Things ended under caution with Jamie taking the win.

Race 2:

 Second race was a ditto of the first start.

Caution was out for a spin and Tnadz lost it coming to the line.  The pair at the front had just managed to gap the field enough, he held second.

Webster, having tumbled the order, was aggressively trying to make up positions.

The 20 laps ran out quickly, again behind the pace car with a second win for Zolecki.

Race 3: 

Similar start although Zack was a little further back and The Egg showed up to the front.

Early caution as Ruttman took Petty to the woodshed.

Tnadz tried to clear some lappers on the restart and failed, nearly killing The Egg.

The Egg then only just barely missed Bonnett coming to a caution.

Which was again caused by Ruttman sending someone to the moon.

Racing did eventually resume and those who pitted were in it deep, 4 and 5 wide at times.

But no one could get more than a couple laps before a caution.  In this case, Ruttman had his reign of terror ended.

Slab, Webster and Egg were all going for it late in the race when Slab had to check up and made contact with Egg, going around.

But with about 5 to go, Zack to out the other 23 on the track.

And thus another race was ended under caution with Jamie in the lead.  A total shut out.

On to the finale at Bristol.
